Feel free to litter any garbage anywhere in Indonesia. But excuse me, don't throw it on the road.
The photos at the top, is a market at somewhere in Jakarta. Of course, every traditional market every where in the world maybe had of lot garbage, disposal, but at the garbage area. But in this country, you can litter your trash everywhere! theres lot of sign board to forbid to litter garbage at the disposal area BUT anyone ignores it. Ok, now they are more aggressive! they throw anything on the road! the street in this area already crowded! the road has 2 lane. 1 lane had 2 line, and it's very small road, it was loaded with public transportation including Bus, "Angkot" (mini van that loaded with crowded peoples), ojek (motorbike taxis), and anything that never ever can be predicted. This road had no Bus Stop, or any public transport stop so they stop anywhere they want. The Motorbike taxis park at the side of road, the mini van park at the side of the road (these are not parking, but ROAD). Can you imagine how crowded they are? These market stand are do their business at the side-walk, pedestrian can't walk on it so they walk on the road. Now? those people had their garbage at the road. This is not tourism attraction. I don't know what the hell is the city major doing all the time, you know those filthy local government are full of pig corrupt fucks.

Somebody throw garbage on this business man, nice idea
So you, foreigners, don't have to be shock to see anyone dispose their trash anywhere, even some of them dispose baby at the side of the road (lot of women in Indonesia abandoned their baby, some times they sold them for $600). It's very normal to throw garbage anywhere, very usual. And abnormal if you see someone put garbage in the garbage can. You know, I visited country like Singapore, Australia, Japan, even Malaysia is very strict in their ecology system. In Japan, I saw a very FEW garbage can! yes very few! but wonder if there's very clean, Singapore too, there's very strict rules about enviroment beauty. Yes, some part of Jakarta is very tidy, it was in Jln. Sudirman which is foreign business district, which mean there's very super duper big deferent in society class in Indonesia. Very sad.

motorbikers, lead the way
I KNEW IT, if you are not motorbike user in Jakarta you are the man. You're the real man. Macho-man. Well those motor bikers in Jakarta seems looks like moron. if they use "motor bebek", "motor batangan", or whatever . Those stupid motorcycle or whatever with the stereotype of wacky helmet (oh, sorry... in Jakarta they not even wear helmet), dirty sandals, stupid free jacket with the dealers name on it received with motor bike purchase on bad credit. Lousy noise, sound of their tiny little bitsy horns everywhere. I wish government raise the tax, no more credit purchase , no more pay later system of cheap motorbike.
They just make trouble in the road. The only excuse why they use motorbike because the lack of rules in Jakarta. Motorcycle can sneak in to the traffic jam, pass the red light. Now days the users of motorbikes can't counted by fingers in Jakarta. They even drive without lights in the nights. Maybe if you are foreigner, think as the motorbike had a hi tech night vision?. Ever see motor bikers drive thru the wrong way lane? shocked? Well you will see that underage/with no drivers license are driving freely here, they are children around 10-15 years old. well these thing are usual thing in Jakarta. Motorbike driver in Jakarta (maybe all over the place in Indonesia, but I can't say) had no rules, they're king of the road, ruled the transportation in Indonesia, especially in the air polluted city where you can't breath, Jakarta. They are selfish, always the right guy, and never pay owed money. No one can beat motorbike driver, even you're a cop. If you hit someone's bike, you're done. You can't say a thing, no excuse, motor bikers always right. You have to pay the damage loss. that's the heritage sacred rules of Jakarta's motor bikers.
Me and my relatives have many experience with motorcyclist. First my relative had drove his car and bit scratchin 2-wheeled fucks and simply the motorcycle driver with his gang whacked the car and make my nephew hardly injured. Man! what the heck is happen in the world by scratching a motorbike you almost your life? you tell. Another one is my friend hit very ugly motorbike with his car, not even hard hit, it just SHOCK that makes the driver shocked an had heart attack I think. So the driver upset and kick right in to the bumper and bikers gone. Well, what makes me HATE SO MUCH THOSE BIKERS: they always to be "right guy" just I told you before. My new car was hit by motorbikes 2 TIMES since new in 2005. What I got when some motor bikers hit my car? HE SAID "I'm very sorry, this is my vault". The excuse in his mind should looks like this: "I don't have any money to change your damage" "Can I go Now?". The Second hit is came from UNDERAGE children drove their motorbike. What the fuck? what can I say? of course I can't claim damage loss from a kid. Another excuse from him "sorry, I'm truly sorry" ("can I go now?").
FUCK MOTORBIKE USER, Harley Davidson bite my ass too! you're not cool anymore in the street that load of poor citizen, Jakarta.
